1. General Abstract Submission Guidelines
- Registration Mandatory: The presenting author MUST be a registered delegate for the BOACON 2027 conference. Unregistered submissions will not be reviewed.
- Originality: The abstract must be original work that has not been previously presented at any state or national conference, nor published in any journal prior to the conference dates.
- Language & Format: Abstracts must be submitted in English. The total word count should not exceed 300 words (excluding title, authors, and affiliations).
- Structure: The abstract must be structured into four distinct sections:
- Introduction/Aims: State the primary objective of the study.
- Material & Methods: Describe the study design, subjects, and methodology.
- Results: Summarize the primary findings (do not include tables/graphs in the abstract).
- Conclusion: State the main conclusions drawn from the study.
- Review Process: All abstracts will undergo a blind peer review by the Scientific Committee. The committee's decision regarding acceptance and category (Podium/Poster) is final.
2. Free Paper (Podium) Presentation
- Time Allocation: Each presentation is allotted exactly 8 minutes total (6 minutes for the presentation, followed by 2 minutes for discussion/Q&A). A warning bell will ring at 5 minutes.
- Format: Presentations must be in Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx) format in a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio.
- Media Submission: Presenters must load their presentations in the Preview Room at least 2 hours prior to their scheduled session. Use of personal laptops at the podium is strictly prohibited.
- Content: Ensure patient anonymity is maintained. Use high-contrast colors and readable font sizes (minimum 24pt for body text).

- Visuals: Keep text concise. Use graphs, charts, and clinical photographs to explain your study efficiently. Text should be legible from a distance of 3-5 feet.
- Presence: Presenting authors must be present at their assigned poster board during the dedicated poster evaluation session.
